Ohio Employee Ownership Center

The Ohio Employee Ownership Center (OEOC) is an outreach center based at Kent State University. Established in 1987, we have the mission of providing selling business owners with succession planning assistance, with a specialty in sales to employees. Since our founding we have helped 700 companies develop succession plans, 100 of which have implemented full or partial employee ownership. The OEOC’s work rests on a simple philosophy: broader ownership of productive assets is a good thing for employees, communities, and our country.
