Business Leadership Council Kicks Off 2025 with Productive January Meeting

The CuyEast Business Leadership Council (BLC) started the new year with an engaging meeting focused on enhancing networking opportunities and strengthening community connections across our eastern suburbs. Sheila Gibbons, Treasurer of the CuyEast Chamber Board of Directors, led the discussion about the BLC’s mission and Chamber benefits.
The meeting brought together an impressive cross-section of local leadership, including mayors from North Randall and Woodmere, and officials from multiple cities including Warrensville Heights and Maple Heights. With the addition of several local business leaders represented, the diversity of attendance demonstrates the strong collaborative spirit within the group. Seven chapters were represented at the meeting, spanning from Cleveland Heights to North Randall, showcasing the broad reach of our business community.
A key highlight from the meeting was the strong interest in expanding in-person networking events. Members expressed enthusiasm for various formats, including building tours, breakfasts, luncheons, and happy hours. The group is actively seeking venue suggestions and host locations to make these networking opportunities a reality. The BLC plans to reconvene next quarter to share success stories from networking events and explore new initiatives.
This meeting sets a positive tone for 2025, with clear action items and a shared commitment to fostering business relationships across our region. Stay tuned for announcements about upcoming networking events. View our current list of events here!
