The Cuyahoga East HR Meet-Up Group on February 5th brought together a dynamic group of HR professionals for insightful discussions and valuable networking. Led by Chris Coon, Area Coordinator of Workforce Development for the Cuyahoga County Board of Developmental Disabilities, at the North Randall Village Hall, the event saw attendees engaging in conversations about key workplace issues. Failing to do so can result in hefty fines—up to $2,789 per violation and even criminal penalties for knowingly hiring undocumented workers. Self-audits are a crucial step in staying ahead of potential issues, and employers should be prepared to respond to ICE inspections with a clear protocol in place.
AI in Employment: Opportunities and Risks
