We welcome Meagan Gibson, Campus and Community Relations Liaison at Cuyahoga Community College Eastern Campus in Highland Hills, OH, as our newest Business Leadership Council member for the Highland Hills Chapter!
Meagan Gibson is the Campus and Community Relations Liaison at Cuyahoga Community College Eastern Campus. She has been with Tri-C for five years and previously served as the Director of Student Engagement for the Eastern Campus. Before joining Tri-C, Meagan worked at Fairmont State University in Fairmont, WV, her alma mater, from which she graduated in 2012 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and National Security & Intelligence. While a student at Fairmont State, Meagan played volleyball as a student-athlete, interned for the university’s Open Source Intelligence Exchange (OSIX), an applied intelligence research lab, and was active in Student Government, where she was elected student body president her senior year. Her student leadership spilled over into her professional career. After graduation, she served in several positions at Fairmont State, including Admissions Counselor, Career Counselor, Student Government Advisor, and Interim Alumni Director. Meagan earned her Master of Education in Higher Education Administration from Tiffin University in 2016, and she is currently pursuing her Doctor of Education in Interprofessional Leadership and Cultural Foundations of Education through Kent State University.
As the Campus and Community Relations Liaison at Tri-C Eastern Campus, Meagan’s primary goal is to help Tri-C help you. She assists with developing and fostering relationships with community members, businesses, organizations, and local governments to meet educational and workforce needs and community resources such as youth and senior adult programs, recreation, and arts and entertainment.
Meagan’s commitment to building and fostering relationships is a welcome addition to the Business Leadership Council. We look forward to her dedication to business growth in the Highland Hills Community.
