Real Talk, Real Wins: April’s Social Media Meet-Up

Our April 23rd Social Media Meet-Up brought together a mix of local marketers, nonprofit leaders, and business pros for a lively virtual session focused on real-world social media wins and challenges. Instead of a traditional presentation, participants shared their current strategies, tips, and content workflows—sparking a collaborative and insightful conversation.
Topics included creative content planning, boosting engagement through personal storytelling, accessibility in digital media, and tools like ChatGPT and Canva to streamline workflows. A key highlight was the importance of showing real people behind the brand, using video to amplify reach, and maintaining consistency even without a large team.
From repurposing content to prioritizing inclusion, the meet-up proved that there’s no one-size-fits-all in social media—but there’s a lot we can learn from each other.
